Behind the creative brilliance of PJ Schenkel's music lies the mind and vision of an artist that goes beyond the sounds of Americana Folk music. PJ is a master of all trades type of guy who just loves to contribute every aspect of his imagination to the world. PJ released his first single "Taking A Walk" in the dreaded and overly talked about year of 2020, which made the world a brighter place with his unique, warm, and tender melodies and production. "Fell In Love" was released shortly after in 2021, which showcased a deeper side of his soul-searching style of writing.

 

PJ has devoted his life to all art forms, including being a film videographer and has earned his degree in film production and marketing from Western Kentucky University in 2009. Since graduation, PJ has broadened his horizons and accumulated several  high profile clients and projects. His expertise ranges from award show operations, escorting, high profile event coverage, publishing, development, branding, and national broadcast coverage for companies like The NFL Network, Buzzfeed, Yamaha, CMT, MTV, Conde Nast, Big Loud Music, Geometry Global, Brown-Forman aka Jack Daniels, The Greenhouse Agency, Dollar Generals, and many other professional editorials and A-list Musicians.

 

Pj has also helped develop several tv show concepts, landing a directorial and producing credit for Phil Vassar’s Songs from the Cellar, which now has syndication on Circle Network. He has an energetic passion for colors and fun doodles has a painting career on the side that he considers to be his passion project. PJ's soul is heavily intertwined with everything he creates from his line of work to his paintings and to his music and is an intrinsic force to be reckoned with.
